a way of printing patterns on cloth by covering the design with wax andcoloring the cloth that does not have wax on it with dye
I look at the piece and interpret the artist is trying to convey a colorful entanglement and mixing of colors to create an image that might be ancient city landscape of a place far far away in an exotic and mysterious land. And it attempts to hold your attention so you might familiarize this place somewhere you might want to visit some day. Nonetheless, a wonderful poster from the Nut Tree.
This print represented a special exhibit at the, then, Nut Tree in Vacaville, CA between September 17, 1971 and January 4, 1972. This print is over 47 years old.

ABOUT THE NUT TREE AT VACAVILLE, CA
As part of the Nut Tree collection, this print along with all the Nut Tree posters and prints are no longer available anywhere. The Nut Tree, a huge icon today in name only, was a famous restaurant, memorabilia shopping center, and airport in Vacaville, California. The shopping center closed in January, 1996. It originally had its origin as early as 1860, and gave weary travelers welcome shade to those going back and forth to the hot Sacramento Valley. Now closed and with only the airport still in operation, these Nut Tree photo collections are very rare. At the bottom of each print, they designated each piece as part of the Nut Tree Collection. This poster/print is over 28 years old. Print measures approximately 18 x 24 inches. It’s a unique piece of artwork, I believe, and certainly a piece that is worth getting. This poster has never been displayed nor has any pinholes or tape residue.
